Good Customer Service

One week ago, I went to have dinner at a newly refurbished bungalow restaurant located at Bangsar with my wife. I am quite impressed with their customer service.

When I first stepped into the restaurant, the lady Manager came to greet me with a friendly smile. And the first thing she asked me was – “Sir, may I know how can I address you?”. I answered her my name is Jeffery. She then pass me a business card of hers and brought me to a table and pulled out the chair for me to sit.

I am not so sure what food to order so I asked her to recommend me. She is being very passionate and introduce me some popular dishes of the restaurant, and I chose some which recommended by her.

5 minutes later, another person approach me at my table. The first thing he did was greet me and passed me a business card. Oh, he is the supervisor of that restaurant! He followed by giving me some info of their dim sum promotion, and encourage me to drop by again.

We didn’t wait too long for the food to be ready, just about 15 minutes. The waiter and waitress are providing good customer service too, they will top up the tea for us and arranging the table settings.

The supervisor on and off will pass by our table and ask us how’s the food? Any feedbacks? He also asked us how we get to know their restaurant? From newspaper advertisement or recommend by friends? I told him we just passed by and give it a try!

After we finished our food and paid the bill, we were stepping out from the restaurant. The supervisor greeting us goodbye while opening the door for us and encourage us to come back soon.
