Things NOT to do to your properties!

December 16, 2009 by Jeffery Lam

To Owners,

As an agent who always in the frontline of the prospective buyers or tenants, I have some things to share with you. Please try not to do the things as I stated below before showing your unit, as it will scare away the prospects.

1. Leave your house in a messy condition after your tenant moved out
2. Tons of unpaid utility bills like maintenance fees, TNB, Indah Water, quit rent and assessment
3. Don’t care about the broken sink, pipe, fan, curtain railing….
4. Leave the graffiti and scribble on the walls
5. Unfixed leaking on the ceiling
6. Broken or “pop-up” floor tiles and etc….

The first impression of your unit to the prospect is very important in order to catch their attention.

If you want to sell or rent out your property in the shortest period, you need to do something! The more cozy and pleasant the unit is, the faster it will let go into the market.
